Jason Grady is the Manager of Emergency Cardiovascular Care at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. He obtained his Paramedic Technology degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 1997 and is also an adjunct EMS educator at Lanier Technical College. Previously as a STEMI System Coordinator, Jason has been involved in the oversight of a 18 county-wide STEMI system including 12 regional community hospitals involved in groundbreaking and evidence based STEMI recognition and treatment. He is responsible for the education, data collection and reporting for the Regional STEMI system. His interests include STEMI systems and treatment and resuscitation science. Jason and his wife Juley live in Flowery Branch, GA and are the parents of 8 awesome children.

Brandon Carey is the Paramedicine Coordinator and Lead Instructor for the Lanier Technical College EMS Education Program, located in Gainesville, Georgia. He also currently serves as the Forsyth County Community Coordinator through Avive Solutions. He also works as a part time Paramedic for a rural ambulance service (White County EMS). Brandon has been in the field of EMS for over ten years, starting as a volunteer Firefighter / EMT-Intermediate (Habersham County Emergency Services) in late 2009. Since then, he has worked for a wide variety of EMS / Fire services, ranging from urban / metro services (Grady EMS, Atlanta, GA) to more rural services (Dawson County Emergency Services, Dawsonville, GA). Brandon graduated from Lanier Technical College with an Associate's in Paramedicine in 2014. He then graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Medical Services from the University of South Alabama in 2016. He has a passion for helping students, and believes the future of EMS is found in the highest quality initial and continuing education. His interests include emergency medicine, mixed martial arts, and spending time with his amazing wife, Susanna.
